BTS, Big Bang, and NCT took the 3 highest positions on the boy group brand reputation chart this month.
On the 7th, The Korean Business Research Institute revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups. The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from April 7 to May 7. Accordingly, BTS, Big Bang, and NCT took the 3 highest positions.
The 1st place – BTS brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 11,573,221, with a participation index of 1,271,771, a media index of 3,139,025, a communication index of 3,356,043, a community index of 3,806,382.
Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, “The BTS brand, which ranked first in boy group brand reputation in May 2022, has high-ranking phrases in BTS’s keyword analysis included ‘In the SEOM,’ ‘Suga,’ and ‘Jungkook,’ while their highest-ranking related terms included ‘record,’ ‘long-running,’ and ‘pre-book.’ In the positive-negative ratio analysis, the positive ratio was analyzed to be 88.71%.”
The 2nd place – Big Bang brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 5,004,703 with a participation index of 907,077, a media index of 1,601,966, a communication index of 917,307, a community index of 1,578,352. Compared to the brand reputation index of 7,655,526 in April, it fell by 34.63%.
The third-ranked – NCT brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 2,570,840, a participation index of 142,069, a media index of 579,026, a communication index of 410,846, and a community index of 1,438,899. Compared to the 2,694,839 brand reputation index in April, it fell 4.60%.
