BTS lost to Stray Kids in the vote for the most anticipated “August Comeback Star”

The group Stray Kids reportedly topped the list of “The most anticipated August comeback stars” by the Korean mobile app IDOLCHAMP.

Their title song “My pace” is a bright and exciting song that contains the message that everyone has their own pace and it’s ok to go as it is. Stray Kids has been particularly popular abroad, and the vote this time also highlighted the active participation from their overseas fans.

BTS took the second place with 35.2% of the votes. BTS, which is set to return with their “Answer” album, recently released the album’s concept photos and track list, and are expected to bring another explosive comeback to fans. The track list contains a total of 25 tracks, including seven new songs: “Epiphany,” “Trivia: Just Dance,” “Trivia: Love,” “Trivia: Seesaw,” “I’m Fine,” “IDOL,” “Answer: Love Myself.” The new songs will be performed for the first time on their “Love Yourself” tour on August 25th and 26th.

The third place belongs to MXM, the duet formed with two former Produce 101 Season 2 contestants Im Young Min and Kim Dong Hyun (7.3%). MXM was back on August 14th with its first full-length album “MORE THAN EVER” and is making good records despite being a rookie.

Following MXM, Red Velvet was at the 4th place with 0.9%, LOONA at the 5th place with 2.5%, BtoB Blue at 6th with 0.6% and DIA at 7th with 0.2%.

IDOLCHAMP is the country’s first participating idol application, which holds a variety of events and fan votes. The “August comeback stars” vote is part of IDOLCHAMP’s monthly “Comeback Idol” poll, where hundreds of thousands of fans can cast a preview of the month’s comeback stars’ popularity.
