BTS J-Hope topped the K-Pop Radar Spotify Follower Chart as a solo artist
BTS’ j-hope set the record for the No.1 solo artist on the Spotify Follower Chart compiled by K-Pop Radar.
K-Pop Radar, fandom data provided by music company Space Audi, announced the trend of K-pop artist followers from July 1 on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform.

K-pop radar responded to the reason for the chart establishment, “More than 90% of total K-Pop consumption occurs overseas, so analysis from various fields is necessary. As it is the world’s largest audio and music platform, Spotify’s artist follower data will enable us to analyze K-pop’s global popularity in more depth.” K-Pop Radar mentioned that the recent popularity can be checked through the follower increase ranking of 1107 K-Pop artists registered on Spotify.

On July 1 and 2, J-Hope took first place in the daily, weekly, monthly, and male categories of the cumulative follower rankings as K-Pop solo singers. He ranked first as a solo artist in all categories and second in the daily chart.
The top 5 in the overall ranking is BTS with over 35 million followers, followed by Blackpink, Twice, EXO, and J-Hope. As of the 3rd, J-Hope has 6,534,432 followers, ranking first in K-pop solo singers excluding the group.
