BTS expressed gratitude to ARMY for three consecutive weeks “Butter” topped Billboard Hot 100

Kpop group BTS appreciated for topping Billboard’s main singles chart “Hot 100” for three consecutive weeks with “Butter.”

On the morning of the 15th, on the official fan community Weverse, Suga posted an article titled, “I’m thrilled again,” and said, “It’s all thanks to ARMYs for being number one for 3 weeks”.

“We really appreciate ARMY for making this incredible record of being No.1 on the Billboard for three consecutive weeks,” said BTS’s official Twitter account, sharing the news of Butter’s Billboard No.1.

According to Billboard on the 14th (local time), BTS’s digital single “Butter” released last month remained at the top for three consecutive weeks, topping Billboard’s main singles chart “Hot 100” for the latest (June 19th).

Earlier, the single “Dynamite,” released in August last year, became the first Korean singer to top the Hot 100 three times, but “Butter” is the first to top the list for three consecutive weeks. 

Previously, the single song ‘Dynamite’, released in August last year, became the first Korean singer to achieve the top spot on the ‘Hot 100’ three times, but ‘Butter’ is the first to hold the top spot for three weeks in a row. Therefore BTS has topped the Hot 100 list eight times, including “Dynamite” (3 times), “Savage Love” remix (1 time), “Life Goes On” (1 time), and “Butter” (3 times).

Meanwhile, BTS held an online fan meeting ‘BTS 2021 Muster Sowoozoo on the 13th and 14th to commemorate the 8th anniversary of their debut.
