BTS became the first Kpop artist in history to be nominated at the “British Grammy” award!

The “global group” BTS continues to make a new miracle!

In mid-March, BTS made Kpop fans proud to appear at the prestigious 2021 Grammy Awards as performers as well as to be nominated for the “Best Pop Performance of the duo/group”.  Although not winning in this category, but being nominated is enough to make a miracle.

So far, BTS continues to achieve another record. On March 31 local time, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) officially announced the nominees for this year’s BRIT Awards, and BTS snagged their first-ever nomination. Widely considered the most high-profile music awards ceremony in the United Kingdom, the BRIT Awards is an annual event celebrating achievements in popular music. This award is considered the equivalent of the US Grammy. 

For the upcoming 2021 BRIT Awards, BTS is in the running for Best International Group, an award that was reinstated this year after a one-year break. BTS, who is now the first Korean artist ever to score a BRIT Awards nomination, will be going up against fellow nominees Foo Fighters, Run the Jewels, Haim, and Fontaines DC.
