BTS appeared with all 7 members at Golden Disc Awards 2021; BLACKPINK, Red Velvet still won the awards even though they didn’t attend

Golden Disc Awards 2020 – the award ceremony is considered as the Korean Grammy – officially took place.  The first day is the award ceremony of digital music categories

On January 9, the 1st day of the Golden Disc Awards 2021 (GDA 2021) ceremony was officially held.  Considered the “Korean Grammy”, GDA is Korea’s leading prestigious award.  On the first day of the digital music award, a series of popular artists appeared such as IU, MAMAMOO, Oh My Girl, MONSTA X, LOONA, NU’EST, Jessi, Lee Seung Gi, Park So Dam, ITZY, The Boyz …

Like other awards ceremonies, due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the mask is an essential item for the artist throughout the ceremony.  At GDA 2021, in addition to enjoying impressive performances, fans also witnessed the honor of the best names at the Golden Disc Awards for digital music.

The only prestigious Daesang award in the digital music segment belongs to IU for the song Blueming.  Blueming is a song with an impressive digital music record for many months.  As expected of being the top “digital monster” in Kpop, IU continued to win important Daesang in her career.  In addition to the Digital Daesang, IU was also named in the top 10 Digital Bonsang of GDA 2021.

BTS was also present at the awards ceremony to receive an important Digital Bonsang award.  This year, Dynamite is the group’s most impressive digital music track.  In particular, Suga also appeared with BTS after many days of absence.

Zico received 2 awards: Digital Bonsang and Trend Of The Year with super hit Anysong.

Red Velvet, BLACKPINK, although not attending, also excellently received the Digital Bonsang award.  If Red Velvet has a big hit from the end of 2019, Psycho, then BLACKPINK has How You Like That with outstanding digital achievements.

For Best Group, MONSTA X excellently received the award.  This year, the group has an outstanding song, Love Killa.  And Jessie won the Best Solo Artist award with the hit NUNU NANA.
