BTOB dressed in black to mourn the late Moonbin at a festival stage

Boy group BTOB mourned the late Moonbin by wearing black outfits on their recent festival stage.

The 2023 LOVESOME Festival was held at the Olympic Main Stadium in Jamsil Sports Complex, Seoul, on April 23rd.

The six BTOB members who took the stage that day all wore black outfits, catching attention. Although there was no direct mention, it was speculated to be a tribute to the recently deceased fellow K-pop singer Moonbin.

Previously on April 20th, BTOB temporarily suspended the promotion of their 12th mini-album “WIND AND WISH”, expressing condolences to the late Moonbin.

In addition, Seo Eunkwang showed his emotions by looking at the sky during the performance of “Someday”, bringing out a lump in his throat. In addition, BTOB performed songs such as
“Remember That”, “It’s Okay”, “Only One for Me”, “It’s All Good”, and “Missing You”.

Meanwhile, Moonbin was found dead at his residence in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 8:10 pm on the 19th (KST). Fantagio, his agency, said, “In accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family, the funeral will be held as quietly as possible, attended by family members, relatives, and company colleagues.”

Recently, Moonbin was scheduled to participate in ASTRO’s unit Moonbin & Sanha fan concert as well as the Dream Concert in May. The sudden news of his death led many entertainment colleagues to mourn him, either through SNS follow-ups, memorial messages, or postponing the release of new songs or promotional contents.
