
Boy group individual brand reputation rankings in May announced… BTS Jimin took the top spot
BTS Jimin ranked first in the individual brand reputation of a boy group in May, followed by Suga.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute recently extracted 105,753,751 brand big data from 703 individual boy groups from April 14 to May 14, 2022 to analyze the boy group personal brand reputation big data, and analyzing consumer behavior for the boy group personal brand. The brand reputation index was analyzed with the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index. Compared to 117,816,465 big data of boy group personal brand reputation in April, it decreased by 10.24%.
According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, BTS Jimin maintained the top spot in the personal brand reputation of boy groups this month. Jimin’s participation index was 886,937, the media index was 830,727, the communication index was 2,054,530, the community index was 2,457,345, and the brand reputation index was 6,229,539. In particular, Jimin took first place again this time, and he has not missed the first place for 41 months, setting a new record.
In the second place, BTS Suga brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 6,185,304 with a participation index of 335,220, a media index of 509,464, a communication index of 2,386,953, and a community index of 2,953,668. Compared with the brand reputation index of 2,227,514 in April, it increased by 177.68%.
In third place, the Wanna One Kang Daniel brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 4,915,114, a participation index of 1,405,802, a media index of 743,671, a communication index of 1,216,325, and a community index of 1,549,317. Compared with the brand reputation index of 5,468,359 in April, it fell 10.12%.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, “As a result of the analysis of boy group personal brand reputation in May 2022, BTS’ Jimin brand ranked first. Analysis of boy group personal brand categories showed a 10.24% decrease compared to 117,81,6465 boy group personal brand reputation big data in April. According to detailed analysis, brand consumption fell by 18.38%, brand issue fell by 19.51%, brand communication fell by 5.33%, and brand expansion fell by 5.82%.”
He continued, “In the link analysis of the Jimin brand of BTS, which ranked first in the individual brand reputation of the boy group, ‘renew, record, dominate’ came out highly, and in the keyword analysis, ‘OST, With You, Our Blues’ was analyzed highly. In the positive-negative ratio analysis, the positive ratio was analyzed at 82.79%. Compared to the BTS Jimin brand reputation index of 6,877,359 in April, it fell 9.42%. According to detailed analysis, brand consumption rose by 7.20%, brand issue decreased by 34.74%, brand communication decreased by 17.56%, and brand expansion rose by 7.56%.”
