BLACKPINK’s Lisa shows impressive charm in DJ Snake’s new MV

DJ Snake's new single "SG" music video, in which BLACKPINK’s Lisa participated, was released at 1 p.m. on October 22nd in Korean time.

SG is a dance-pop song that smoothly combines reggaeton bounce and Latin trap. BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Ozuna, and Megan Thee Stallion featured in the song and the mega collaboration of pop stars itself has drawn expectations from music fans around the world.

Aside from the audio of the song, many people are also paying attention to its music video. Colin Tilley, who directed music videos of stars such as Justin Timberlake, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber and Post Malone, was in charge of the production. He is well-known to have won BET Music Awards several times.


SG“’s music video has a spectacular visual element that catches the fans’ eyes. Under the palm trees, various backgrounds such as yachts, clubs, and swimming pools highlight the song’s atmosphere. Lisa appeared in silver cropped and blue shorts, completely incorporating into the sensuous visual beauty of the MV and raising the charm of the song to the extreme. After working with Lisa, DJ Snake even complimented her on her charisma and charm.

The effect of collaborations between Lisa’s group – BLACKPINK and famous pop stars have already been proved many times. In 2018, BLACKPINK featured in Dua Lipa’s song “Kiss and Make Up” and gained sensational popularity when this song ranked No.36 on the U.K’s Official Singles Chart Top 100. In addition, their collaboration song with Lady Gaga, “Sour Candy”,  ranked 33rd place on Billboard Hot 100. In August of the same year, BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez’s song “Ice Cream” also entered the Billboard Hot 100 at 13th place, breaking the highest-ranked record of  KPOP girl groups on this chart.

Meanwhile, Lisa recently released her solo album “LALISA” and dominated various global music charts. The title song of this album, ‘LALISA’, topped the iTunes Top Song Chart in 72 countries and ranked No.1 on the global Youtube Song Top 100 for two consecutive weeks.

Her album b-side track ‘MONEY’ has also attracted keen attention and showed its hot popularity by ranking No.6 on the Spotify Global Chart.
