BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’s V claimed to be dating by a verified account, what is the truth?

Fans are taken aback by the dating news of BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’s V. But is it believable? 

As January 1, 2022 is coming soon, netizens are looking forward to Dispatch’s New Year’s Day couple more than ever. Rumors and speculations about Dispatch’s first “target” of the upcoming year circulate online every day.  Recently, netizens were taken aback by the sudden dating news between BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’s V, as posted by an Instagram news account with a blue verified badge from Chile. This account even posted a photo of Jennie and V walking side by side and tagged both idols.

Fans got even more confused when this account confidently confirmed in their caption: “Big Hit has confirmed the relationship between V and Jennie. Dating rumor sparked after V followed Jennie on Instagram a few weeks ago but he then unfollowed her right away after being disturbed by fans. This morning, Dispatch released a photo of the two at the airport heading to Paris. YG later also confirmed the dating report.” Many were in shock after reading this information. But is it the truth?

Turns out, it was all a joke because at the end of the post, the news site from Chile wrote: “Have a nice day, innocent people”. Fans were also shocked because recently, the dating rumor between V and Jennie has surfaced after the BTS member mistakenly pressed the button to follow the female rapper from YG on Instagram. Many people even “shipped” the couple despite the fact that Jennie is said to be dating G-Dragon (BIGBANG). On the other hand, many fans of the two idols expressed anger at the joke of the above account.
