BlackPink to end their one-month promotion for this comeback

BlackPink announced that the official promotion of their comeback is coming to an end, even though it’s their first comeback after a year.

On June 15th, BlackPink came back to the KPOP world with a mini album named “SQUARE UP” and have been active with promotion activities since then. The album landed in first place on iTunes album charts of 41 countries such as Spain, Thailand, Qatar, German, Canada, etc. The title song “DDU-DU DDU-DU” got an all-kill on eight music charts and managed to maintain its spot for 30 consecutive days. Furthermore, the groups also won 11 times in total on music shows.

BlackPink is also the first KPOP girl group to enter both “Billboard 200” in 40th place and “Billboard Hot 100” in 55th place. In addition, the MV of the title song made a record of being the MV with 2nd highest views within 24 hours in YouTube history (36.2 million views).

Following that, the idol group are said to have been active on the small screen by taking part in TV shows such as “Running Man” and “Real Men.”

However, BlackPink will reportedly officially promote their first mini album “SQUARE UP’ until the end of July only. Fans are looking forward to hearing more news about their upcoming activities.
