They have the chance to choose a song to play to congratulate their victory right after the win, not the National Anthem. And in additon, the female archery team asked to play BTS’s song, not BLACKPINK.

During the post-match press conference, the captain of the Korean women’s archery team, Kang Chaeyoung, shared, “We actually asked for BTS’s song but there must have been a mistake. This is why BLACKPINK’s song has sounded. I’m quite not happy about that.’

Many people criticized the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Organizing Committee for this confusing mistake when the two artists’ names were completely different. The female team was surprised and disappointed when, at the moment of victory, they couldn’t listen to their idol’s song.
