BLACKPINK Lisa hits 96,844 pre-orders for single album LALISA on KTOW4U after the first 24 hours; YG stock skyrocket
This remarkable achievement demonstrates the great level of anticipation for Lisa’s debut solo release.
At midnight on August 25, YG Entertainment uploaded a photo with hashtags: “#LISA FIRST SINGLE ALBUM LALISA TEASER POSTER FIRST SINGLE ALBUM LALISA 2021.09.10 12 AM (EST) / 1 PM (KST)” on BLACKPINK’s official SNS, raising high expectations from fans.
The images for the physical album LALISA were then released on the afternoon of August 26. Lisa’s album comes with a variety of extras, including a box, CD, Photobook (88 pages), photocard, gold photocard (rare), gold ticket (very rare), and more. There will be two versions of the album: a black version and a gold version; it will be difficult to determine which is better! Pre-orders for this album are also open from August 26.
And as of 2 pm on August 27, BLACKPINK Lisa’s first single album “LALISA” has achieved 96,844 pre-orders on Ktown4u retail website. This achievement helped Lisa become the first female artist to sell the most albums on Ktown4u in the first 24 hours.
LALISA is currently ranked 8th on KTOWN4U’s all-time list of best-selling albums by female artists. And, given that this is only the first day of pre-order, Lisa’s ranking might keep rising.
In addition, LALISA is also ranked first in the list of biggest first-day preorders for an album by a Kpop female artist in Ktown4u history, surpassing -R- (by Rosé), The Album (by BLACKPINK) and Queendom (by Red Velvet).
