Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK Jisoo shared interesting things about Snowdrop in a recent interview.
Recently, Jung Hae In and Jisoo (BLACKPINK) had an interview with Kplaza Japan. There, both actors had interesting sharings about Snowdrop and the filming process.
When asked what the two liked most about Snowdrop, Jung Hae In happily shared: “First of all, I have always believed in the director and the screenwriter. The script of the drama tells a very fascinating story, Suho looks like an ordinary man at first glance, but in reality, he has many secrets and many scars from the past. Su Ho’s world suddenly changes after meeting Young Ro (played by Jisoo). Through this role, viewers will see many different aspects of my acting. That was the most fun part when I played this role.”
Jisoo also talked about her character Young Ro: “Youngro is a girl full of hope and optimism, the room will light up as soon as she walks in. Youngro goes through many difficulties and has to fall into many different situations, but she responded to them all with a very mature attitude. This is a very different point from my personality, and I like that about Youngro. Youngro’s positive energy was an important factor in deciding whether I would play this role. I think I can learn something from her by playing Youngro. That’s why I was attracted to this role. “
Besides, Jung Hae In expressed that he was very happy to be Jisoo‘s first co-star. The actor also confirmed that he believed Jisoo would do well. In response to Jung Hae In’s compliment, Jisoo also shared many interesting things about her first co-star. Jisoo also expressed her wish to have the opportunity to collaborate with Jung Hae In in the future.
Specifically, the actress shared, “No one stays on the set until late at night like Haein, and Haein was the first to think of me as a lucky co-star with him. I completely agree with him. I feel relieved to receive so much help and support from Haein sunbaenim, Haein sunbaenim has always been by my side. This is truly an honor. I would like to work with him again in the future.”
Regarding the characters Suho and Youngro, both Jung Hae In and Jisoo felt that they had similarities with their characters. Jung Hae In said, “Suho is a man who always fights to protect his loved ones. Throughout my acting life, I have always valued my family, friends, and colleagues. So my priorities and Su Ho’s are the same.”
Jisoo also shared, “Youngro always tries to make the atmosphere bright when there are other people around her. I feel Youngro and I share such lovely and innocent energy.”
