Jisoo, a member of BLACKPINK, expressed her longing for the complete group as she prepared for her solo debut.
On May 3rd, a video titled “[Today’s Jisoo] EP.4 DANCE PRACTICE BEHIND” was uploaded to BLACKPINK Jisoo’s official YouTube channel “Happiness Index 103%”.
In the video, Jisoo revealed her dance practice process for the solo song “Flower”.
Jisoo, who shared her practice sessions over several days, turned on the camera without fail on the fourth day. She then announced a surprise news, saying, “I’m dyeing my hair tomorrow. I was going to dye it dark, but I changed my mind… I found it so boring. I looked at myself in the mirror and was shocked at how boring it was. So I’m going to dye it tomorrow”.
The female idol also asked fans to look forward to “bad-girl Soo”.
Later on, as she wrapped up the shooting, Jisoo confessed that she missed BLACKPINK, adding, “Going solo is a very lonely and tough battle.”
At the time, Jisoo sincerely appealed to her feelings by wearing a cap with BLACKPINK engraved on it. A caption of “Filling the void with the hat” also appeared, reflecting Jisoo’s feelings.
Despite struggling with practicing alone, Jisoo eventually succeeded in mastering the choreography and concluded the video by showcasing a professional performance at the “Flower” music video shooting site.
