BLACKPINK Jennie’s acting debut receive 5-minute standing ovation at Cannes

Jennie, a member of BLACKPINK, made a glamorous entrance at the 76th Cannes International Film Festival as an actress.

On May 22nd, at 10:30 (local time) (5:30 AM on the 23rd, Korean time), Jennie attended the world premiere screening of HBO’s “The Idol” at the Lumière Grand Theatre in Cannes, southern France.


Before the official screening, Jennie appeared on the red carpet with pop singer Troye Sivan, who also appeared in the production. Wearing an off-shoulder chiffon lace dress with a ribbon decoration on her head, the female idol drew attention by blowing a kiss to the camera.
