BLACKPINK Jennie expressed her feelings about appearing in the American drama “The Idol”.
On June 5th, a video titled “Inside Episode 1 | The Idol | HBO” was uploaded on the YouTube channel “HBO”.

Jennie appeared as Dyanne, Jocelyn’s friend and backup dancer, in episode 1 of “The Idol”.
Jocelyn is a popular idol who dreams of becoming a pop star. In episode 1, Jocelyn had sex with Tedros (played by The Weeknd), whom she met at a club.
Jennie also showed a passionate performance, such as performing unconventional choreography with dancers.

In the making video released by HBO, she said, “I didn’t have a lot of time to learn the choreography for the dance scenes.”
She added, “But thankfully, I do this all the time, so it came naturally to me.”
“The Idol” director Sam Levinson was satisfied with Jennie, saying, “There was a real trust that they had in each other as performers. So, it was interesting to just see what happens when the life unfolds.”

Meanwhile, HBO’s drama “The Idol” consists of a total of 6 episodes.
Set in LA, USA, the drama tells the chaotic story of popular idol star Jocelyn and her friends.
