BLACKPINK Jennie and ITZY Yeji extend their best wishes to an Olympic swimmer who previously admitted to being their fanboy

Hwang Seon-woo (18, Seoul Chego High School), the future of Korean swimming, has become a hot topic as a successful fan.

Hwang Sun-woo was ranked fifth in the men’s 100-meter freestyle final match at the Tokyo Olympics held at the Aquatics Center in Tokyo on the 29th. He scored 47.82 seconds, the highest performance in 69 years as an Asian athlete in his first Olympic appearance.

Seeing this, BLACKPINK Jennie sent a message of support through her Instagram on the same day, saying, “I’m also cheering for you. Hwang Seon-woo hwaiting.”
