BLACKPINK enters the global game market, introducing “BLACKPINK: The Game” with OSTs and MVs
The famous girl group BLACKPINK (Rosé, Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo) is aiming for the global game market.
According to an announcement by BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment on May 15th, a new mobile game based on BLACKPINK IP will be released on the 18th.
“BLACKPINK: The Game” is a game in which you become the producer of BLACKPINK in the multi-verse world and help the members grow. It offers various modes for users, such as training and headquarters management simulation, puzzles using photo cards, and decorating your own BLACKPINK avatar with your own style.
Even before the release of the game, teaser videos were aired in big cities around the world, including Seoul, New York, Bangkok, Paris, and Tokyo, raising fans’ expectations. The game will also provide exclusive content of BLACKPINK, stimulating the curiosity of global fans.
YG said, “The project that BLACKPINK has participated in the production for a long time to communicate more closely with global fans is finally unveiled”, adding “We will also introduce game OSTs sung by the members and music videos sequentially, so please look forward to it.”
“BLACKPINK: The Game” is now available for pre-order on the official website and on the two major mobile markets, Google Play and Apple’s App Store.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is carrying out ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]’, the largest world tour of a K-pop girl group that attracts approximately 1.5 million audiences. Following their successful Asia tour, the girls will perform in Paris, France and stadium concerts in 4 North American cities.
BLACKPINK is also the first K-pop artist to decorate the stage of ‘Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival’ as a headliner.
