BLACKPINK announced their comeback date, but why is fan dissapointed?

After the success of “Kill This Love” (April 2019), fans expect more music projects from BLACKPINK. However, the comeback announcement this time is not enough to satisfy BLINKs.

The reason is, it’s true that BLACKPINK is going to have a comeback, but in Japan and not South Korea. The 4 girls will release a Japanese version for “Kill This Love” on the upcoming Sep 11th. The album will consist of 10 tracks, including the Japanese and Korean version of the hit “Kill This Love”.

They will also have a promotion plan for this new album in Japan.
Fans are dissapointed by this news because they want to see BLACKPINK return to the Korean music scene with new songs. A Japanese album for “Kill This Love” is not enough to satisfy the thirst because it is usually less invested and nothing new but the same song in a different language. This album will be similar to the album “BLACKPINK In Your Area” released in Japan, December 2018 and consists of old hits in Japanese language.

Not to mention, this news has destroy fan’s hope about a 2nd comeback in 2019 of BLACKPINK. On SNS, the BLINK community is showing their dissapointment about the news of BLACKPINK’s new Japanese album.
