Miyeon made her debut as a member of the idol group (G)I-DLE in 2018 and is loved for being the main vocalist in the group.

Mi-yeon, who became famous even before her debut for her resemblance to actress Song Hye-kyo and Son Ye-jin, became a hot topic for being a 5-year trainee at YG Entertainment before her debut in (G)I-DLE. The idol was called the second CL at the time and her debut was highly anticipated. She was selected to be in the debut lineup of a group called “Pink Punk,” which includes “Black Pink” members, but eventually left YG after failing to debut with the group.

Since then, she decided to give up her idol dream and started preparing for the university entrance exam. However, she was offered to audition for a girl group of Cube Entertainment.
