ATEEZ to hold a world tour in 2022

Boy group ATEEZ has confirmed plans for an upcoming 2022 world tour.

ATEEZ officially announced the plan for its world tour “THE FELLOWSHIP: BEGINNING OF THE END” on its official SNS on November 15. According to the released poster, ATEEZ will have concerts in a total of 12 cities, starting with Seoul and 5 U.S cities including Chicago, Atlanta, New York, Dallas and Los Angeles in January, and at 6 Europe cities including Amsterdam, London, Paris, Berlin, Warsaw and Madrid from February to March.

The tour’s preview video, which was released in the afternoon of November 14, showed the shouts of fans starting in a dark space and growing as they approached the door through which the light leaked. Soon, the door opens wide and the dazzling light covers the screen, hinting at ATEEZ’s gaze as if they were climbing onto a stage full of lights from a dark backstage.

AN official from the group’s agency said, “We would like to show ATEEZ’s growing skills and heated passion through the world tour ‘THE FELLOWSHIP: BEGINNING OF THE END’. We will create a stage that we won’t regret to repay the support of our fans who have waited with unwavering hearts,” raising expectations even more.

After ATEEZ’s official poster for the 2022 world tour was released, fans from all over the world responded online, such as “Are we finally seeing ATEEZ in person?”, “I’m so proud that they are going to perform in 12 cities around the world,” “The poster is already magnificent,” and “I hope I have a seat.”

ATEEZ, which debuted in October 2018, sold out their tour ATEEZ-The Expedition Tour in  five North American cities and 10 European cities in about four months, laying the foundation for a “global idol.”

ATEEZ’s world tour The Fellowship: Map The Treasure, held in February last year, was reportedly the tour of one artist to gather 100,000 fans in the shortest period in K-pop history at the time.

Recognized for their solid concept, perfect live performance, and brilliant performance on stage, the group recently entered Billboard 200 for the first time with “ZERO: FEVER Part. 3” and proved their global popularity by receiving favorable reviews from leading foreign media such as Forbes and Rolling Stones.

Meanwhile, ATEEZ successfully completed their XR show “Fever: Extended Edition” on November 14.
