TWICE will release a new album and have a dome tour in Japan in the first half of 2019.
On January 11, JYP Entertainment officially spoke about the 2019’s schedule of TWICE, the girl group has been rocking at the KPOP world in recent years. The success of TWICE’s 9 members helped their management company surpass YG Entertainment to rank 2nd in the Big 3. Taking advantage of that, JYP put a lot of enthusiasm to make TWICE continuously return with new music products, become a music group with an important position in the industry.
Also on the same day, representatives from JYP revealed TWICE’s upcoming schedule. Specifically, they will release a Japanese album called “# TWICE2” on March 3 this year. This album is the sequel to the first Japanese album “#TWICE” released in 2017, which sold 250,000 copies and climbed to the number 1 on Oricon’s Daily chart.
In the upcoming album, TWICE will release 10 songs and reveal the Japanese versions of the hit songs “Likey”, “Heartshaker”, “What is Love”, “Dance the Night Away” and “Yes Or Yes “, and the new songs that TWICE is still keeping the secrets.
During this time, TWICE will have a dome tour through 3 big cities. The first night (March 21), this girl group will perform at Kyocera Dome in Osaka. The next two nights (March 29-30), TWICE will meet their fans at the Tokyo Dome. Finally, the girls will finish this tour at Nekoya Dome (April 6).
In addition, TWICE’s promotion plan in Korea has yet to be revealed. But according to the prediction of some fans, the girls will have an exhausting year of 2019 because of the busy comeback schedule and the concerts held in Korea and some other countries in the region, along with their activities in Japan.
