Artists from many companies attended 2018 SBS Gayo Daejun but only one company took photos together!

It sounds like a mediocre thing but it is actually very unusual.

Say what you say, the artists who are in the same management company will always be more or less influenced by each other’s career and image. It is not difficult to understand that the entertainment companies oriented their artists to have interaction with each other. If the artists of the same gender, the closer they are, the better (eg boygroup x boygroup, girlgroup x girlgroup) and for opposite genders, they should remain mutual respects and keep a distance (boygroup x girlgroup).

It is these relationships that will help artists to benefit, share a common fan base as well as create a friendly, positive image.

Even at SBS Gayo Daejun 2018 which was held last December 25th, JYP Entertainment (also known as the intimate name “JYP Nation”), gathered together to take a picture to share with the fandom and with JYP-Stan in particular.

This image reminds that no matter where GOT7, TWICE and Stray Kids are, they are always JYP members, the same idols come from a common home. They are united and ready to support their seniors, juniors and family members throughout their careers.

However, from the presence of “JYP Nation”, the audience suddenly questioned the existence of “SM Town” (EXO x Red Velvet x NCT), “YG Family” (WINNER x iKON x Black Pink) and “United CUBE” (BTOB x (G) I-DLE) – Other entertainment companies which have 2-3 artists participating in SBS Gayo Daejun 2018.

Taking a picture and posting it online doesn’t prove that their relationship is all good, but this action is really important in the marketing aspect, especially at the entertainment company level. Moreover, fans will feel more or less uneasy at seeing the artists from the same company without interacting with each other.

What do you think about this issue, do the artists of the same management company necessarily have to be intimate with each other and let the audience know it?
