STAYC and aespa won the Rookie of the Year award.
STAYC and aespa took home the Rookie of the Year award at the “36th Golden Disc Awards” held at Gocheok Sky Dome, Guro-gu, Seoul on Jan 8th.
STAYC expressed their feelings, “Thank you to our fans for always being by our side. Thank you to our HIGHUP ENTERTAINMENT members who worked even harder than us and are always supporting us. We debuted during a tough time 2 years ago, so we haven’t had many performances in front of the audience. However, the day when we get to do that is slowly coming. We will become a STAYC who works even harder with the hope that we can be with the audience this year.”
3 aespa members delivered their acceptance speech, “Thank you to our fans who made it possible for us to receive this great Rookie of the Year award. Unfortunately, Winter wasn’t able to be with us because she wasn’t feeling well, but she’s getting better very quickly, so you don’t have to worry much. Thank you for giving us a big award and please look forward to seeing us grow further in the future.”
