Appearing in public after a long time, Irene expressed her feelings about Red Velvet’s comeback
Irene (Bae Joo-hyun) revealed how she felt about Red Velvet making a comeback as the “spring queens”.
Red Velvet held an online press conference at 2 P.M on March 21st to celebrate the release of its new mini-album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm”.
“The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm” is Red Velvet’s music festival named after “Reve”, which stands for “Red Velvet” in French and means “dream” and “fantasy”.
On this day, leader Irene confessed her feelings about this comeback, saying, “It feels so nice being able to meet Reveluvs (Red Velvet’s fandom name) in spring. I think it is such a great thing that we are showing you another side of Red Velvet”.
When asked what the focus of this comeback was, she replied, “Winter has changed to spring by now and spring reminds us of a new beginning, right? With the meaning of a new start, We will try to show the coldness of winter and warmth of spring through Red Velvet’s ‘live festival’”.
Wendy (Son Seung-wan) also explained their new charms in this album, saying, “We made a comeback with ‘Red Flavor’ in summer, when the weather was hot. We think it is important to show the smell and image of spring. Everyone can also enjoy the image of spring with our visuals”.
“When you watch the music video and listen to the song, you will find the song ‘smells’ like flowers. I hope everyone enjoys it with both your senses of sight and smell”, adding, “I think spring will be a season full of excitement because it reminds us of the beginning”.
Red Velvet’s “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm” will be released on various online music sites at 6 P.M today (March 21st)
