Apink has raised expectations for their new mini album by releasing a group mood film following the release of their first group photo.
On the 24th, IST Entertainment revealed the group photo and mood film of Apink (Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jung Eun-ji, Kim Nam-joo, Oh Ha-young) for their 10th mini album ‘SELF’ through their official SNS and YouTube channel, capturing the attention of global K-pop fans.
In the group photo and mood film, Apink members pose freely against a polaroid wall that captures their appearances from their debut until now, showcasing Apink’s unique lively energy as well as their heartwarming chemistry. In particular, Apink’s bright smiles in the photo exude lovable charm and can make anyone smile along with them.
Apink will make their comeback on April 5th with their 10th mini album ‘SELF,’ revealing their true selves and presence as Apink. The new song ‘D N D’ stands for ‘Do Not Disturb,’ containing Apink’s hope message to imagine your own world without any distractions. The album boasts high quality as talented producers such as Kwon Deok-geun (who worked with NCT Dream, MONSTA X, Red Velvet, Anne-Marie), and C’SA (who worked with (G)I-dle) have come together for the album.
Prior to this, Apink had started their comeback with the release of a logo poster on the 14th, followed by the release of promotion schedules, tracklist images, and other teasers, officially starting their comeback after about a year and two months. They will continue to heighten the atmosphere before their comeback with various teaser contents, including concept photos that showcase the charm of their new album, highlight medley films that offer a glimpse of each track, and music video teasers.
As a “national girl group” celebrating their 12th anniversary this year, Apink has received much love from the public with numerous mega-hit songs. They have demonstrated their strong power through their special album ‘HORN,’ released on their 10th debut anniversary last year, which achieved first place on music broadcasts and broke their own record for initial sales.
