Another BTS’s MV hit 1 billion views, which group has more MVs with billion views, BTS or BLACKPINK?

FAKE LOVE is the latest MV to enter BTS’s collection of billion-view MVs.

On September 8, BTS‘s “FAKE LOVE” MV officially hit 1 billion views on YouTube. The MV was released on May 18, 2018 and took 3 years, 3 months, 20 days to reach this remarkable milestone.

FAKE LOVE is the 5th MV of the “global boy group” to cross 1 billion views, after DNA, Boy With Luv, Dynamite and MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix). This achievement helps BTS surpass BLACKPINK and become the group with the most billion-view MVs.

Up to this point, the girl group from YG Entertainment has 4 MVs that record 1 billion views, including “DDU-DU DDU-DU”, “Kill This Love”, “BOOMBAYAH” and “As If It’s Your Last”. Notably, BTS’s ‘IDOL’ MV is also very close to the milestone of 1 billion views (currently has 996 million views). IDOL’ MV promises to help the 7 Big Hit boys widen the gap with BLACKPINK in the race for the title of the group with the most MVs that hit a billion views.
