An incoming Korean drama that will scare viewers around the world this year

The Director of “Train To Busan”, director Yeon Sang Ho, will return with a new Netflix series to be released!

At the global event TUDUM held on last Saturday, September 25, Netflix announced the official release date (November 19) of “HELLBOUND”, a series directed by Yeon Sang Ho.

HELLBOUND” tells the story of a supernatural phenomenon in which human are sentenced to hell by the executors who appears without notice and the group of people who want to reveal the truth behind a religious group on the rise.

HELBOUND” is a new movie by Director Yeon Sang Ho, who has made his name be known widely through various films that share the same worldview, such as “Seoul Station”, “Train To busan”, “Peninsula”, and “The Cursed: Dead Man’s Prey”, an extended version of 2020 drama “The Cursed”.

This movie depicts a thrilling story about a society where people are living in confusion and shock after witnessing the executors sending people to hell.

“The most shocking story of the webtoon history”

Director Yeon Sang Ho, who wrote the original webtoon, which has the same name as the movie, directed and co-screened the new worldview he created in the new Netflix series.

Writer Choi Kyu Seok, who showed a sharp sense with his excellent storytelling in “Awl”, also participated in the co-scripting of the movie, showing his synergy with director Yeon Sang Ho again after their collaboration in the original webtoon. In addition, actors whose names received trust from movie fans, such as Yoo Ah In, Kim Hyun Joo, Park Jung Min, Won Jin Ah, Yang Ik Joon, Kim Do Yoon, Kim Shin Rok, Ryu Kyung Soo, and Lee Re, will play various characters in this supernatural phenomena.

At the TUDUM event, apart from the announcement of “HELLBOUND”’s release date, the first trailer that gave the viewers the very first image of this world was also shown. The trailer begins with the Hell executors led by Jeong Jin Soo (Yoo Ah In), who is the leader of a religious group, sending people to hell.

Moreover, these executors appeared in the middle of Seoul, causing a great shock to every people and leaving them with anxiety. The shocking appearance of a man killed by the executors of Hell, who showed up at the notified time, marked the prelude to a huge worldview.

The story of various characters who will reveal the truth while they fight against the world that caused uncontrollable fear and confusion is drawing great attention from viewers all over the world.

HELLBOUND” will be released only on Netflix on November 19.
