The ranking of K-drama topics for the first week of March 2023 has been announced, with one actress landing on top.
On March 7th, Good Data Corporation released their rankings of TV Drama Topic. It is known that Good Data Corporation announces TV topics and search responses every week based on the results of netizens searching for TV programs, performers, and related issues on portal sites.
According to the latest announcement, actress Roh Yoon Seo rose to the top of the “Top 10 Most Popular Drama Casts” with her appearance in tvN’s “Crash Course in Romance”. Following Roh Yoon Seo are Jung Kyung Ho (“Crash Course in Romance”) in 2nd place, Jeon Do Yeon (tvN “Crash Course in Romance”) in 3rd place, Shin Jae Ha (tvN “Crash Course in Romance”) in 4th place, and Lee Je Hoon (SBS “Taxi Driver 2”) in 5th place.
Regarding Roh Yoon Seo, Good Data Corporation CEO Won Soon Woo said, “Despite being the only rookie in her first TV drama, ‘Our Blues’, Roh Yoon Seo ranked 4th in the Drama Cast ranking at the time. She has shown strong growth since then”.
On the other hand, “Crash Course in Romance”, which ended on March 5th, ended with the finale of a marriage between Nam Haeng Seon (Jeon Do Yeon) and Choi Chi Yeol (Jung Kyung Ho). According to the audience rating research company Nielsen, the final episode recorded an average rating of 19.8% and a peak rating of 20.8% in the metropolitan area. Meanwhile, a national average of 17% and maximum of 18% were achieved, breaking the series’ previous personal records.
In the TV-OTT integrated drama/series topical category, tvN’s “Crash Course in Romance” defeated competitors such as Netflix’s “The Glory” and Disney+’s “Big Bet Season 2” and ranked first for six weeks in a row.
