All broadcasts of drama “The One and Only” eventually recorded 0% ratings except for the first 3 episodes
JTBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama “The One and Only” ended with a disappointing rating.
According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of JTBC’s drama “The One and Only” aired on February 8th, recorded a rating of 0.06%.
In particular, the 15th episode of “The One and Only”, which aired consecutively on the same day, showed 0.7% in viewership point. The drama was organized with 2 broadcasts aired at the same time because “Sing Again 2” was changed from 9 P.M to 10 P.M to avoid the broadcast time of the short track speed skating game.
“The One and Only” started with 2.442% for the first episode then suffered a slump to reach 1.4% and 1.3% for the 2nd and 3rd episodes. Continuing its 0% viewership from episode 4, the drama eventually ended with a disappointing performance.
Previously to “The One and Only”, JTBC drama “Idol” also ended with poor performance. Its audience ratings ranged between the maximum number of 0.8% and 0.4% as the minimum record.
Meanwhile, the last broadcasts of “The One and Only” depict the separation of Kang Se-yeon (Kang Ye-won), Seong Mi-do (Park Soo-young), and Pyo In-sook (Ahn Eun-jin). Min Woo-cheon (Kim Kyung-nam), who was released after repaying enough for his crime, reunited with Pyo In-sook. They became each other’s “one and only person” to heal their wounds, touching the hearts of the viewers.
“The One and Only” is a melodrama in which 3 women meet in a hospice and decided to take down one bad person before they die, but then unexpectedly encounter one person that is really precious in their life. Actors Ahn Eun-jin, Kim Kyung-nam, Kang Ye-won, Park Soo-young (Red Velvet Joy), Go Doo-shim, Jang Hyun-sung, Yoon Bo-ra (Sistar Bora) appeared in this drama. “The One and Only” started airing in December last year and ended with 16 episodes.
