MBC’s “My Teenage Girl Prequel – Hesitation Before School” which will air its 2nd episode on Nov 7th, pre-released some snippets ahead of the show.

In the video, Park Han-eum, a 1st-grader, is seen thinking about something by herself for a while, even in the middle of dance practice.

She has received the news of her father passed away, leaving her on the same day she was notified of her acceptance in “My Teenage Girl”.

After hearing hte story, Oh Eun-young comforted her, saying, “You must be missing your dad a lot” to which trainee Park Han-eum calmly said, “I think of my dad the most when I’m having a hard time during practice.”

In fact, during practice, Park Han-eum was frequently criticized by her dance instructor, dancer Aiki.

After that practice session, Aiki called Park Han-eum out to say that “Your eyes look down too much during practice.”

Park Han-eum then shed tears to Oh Eun-young, saying, “I saw my dad in the ICU, he looked not well at all.”

“It’s hard for anyone to see their parents passing away”, Oh Eun-young said, patting Park Han-eum.

The trainee then said, “It’s hard, but my dad knows that my dream is to be an idol, and I had promised him that I would become an idol. I really want to keep my last promise with him.”

Two months later, at the school entrance ceremony which was held in front of the teachers, trainee Park Han-eum successfully finished her stage.

“I feel sorry for Han-eum,” Aiki said in tears, unable to utter out any word.

“Her heart must have been so heavy, but I scolded her too much,” she said with a look of mixed affection and apologies.

Ok Joo-hyun also cried, while Park Han-eum wasn’t able to hold back her tears.
