The music video of girl group aespa’s new song – “Savage” has just surpassed 100 million views on Youtube.
The MV of “Savage”, the title song of aespa’s first mini-album, released on October 5th, exceeded 100 million views on Youtube at around 1:30 p.m on October 23rd, about 17 days 19 hours and 30 minutes after its release. This has broken the record of their previous song “Next Level” MV, which hit 100 million views after 32 days 8 hours and 30 minutes, to become their fastest music video to reach this milestone.
Earlier, the MV of aespa’s debut song “Black Mamba” also gained 100 million views in only 51 days and 12 hours, setting the new record as the MV of a KPOP group’s debut song to reach 100 million views in the shortest time in history. In addition, “Next Level” and “Savage” are also proving their hot popularity by breaking various view records.
Meanwhile, aespa recorded 510,000 copies in only 15 days after the release of their first mini-album and earned the “half-million seller” title. They also entered the U.S Billboard’s main charts, “Billboard 200” and “Artist 100”, at the highest rankings among KPOP girl groups.
