Aespa’s achievement with ‘Savage’ is considered a miracle for a rookie group
At precisely 6 pm on October 5 (KST), aespa officially made a comeback with the first mini-album titled Savage. The MV for the title song Savage, following Black Mamba and Next Level, tells the story of the worldview of aespa. The songs on this album are also highly appreciated by the public.
Despite this is just a debut album, aespa’s accomplishments are very commendable. In addition to the 400,000 pre-orders, the group’s first-day album sales totaled 147,195 copies. On the first day, Savage becomes the best-selling debut album by a girl group. Aespa’s sales are 100,000 copies higher than IZ*ONE‘s in second place and eight times higher than BLACKPINK’s in third place.

As can be seen, Savage is already very close to achieving Realtime All-kill. Previously, aespa set a record as Savage is the song with the highest debut ranking since the reform of the MelOn chart.
