“Metaverse girl group” aespa recently held a fansign event in Paris, France, and received a lot of attention from the local media.
On October 3rd (local time), tickets for aespa’s fansign event held at FNAC, a leading bookstore in Paris, France, was sold out in about 2 minutes, proving a high interest in the girl group. At this event, aespa met and communicated closely with local fans.
On this day, in addition to the pre-selected people with tickets to the fansign event, about 2,000 local fans gathered to welcome aespa with loud cheers and warm responses.
In response, France’s representative news channel “BFMTV”, which has about 10 million daily viewers, introduced the concept and worldview of aespa as “a Kpop group that travels between the metaverse world and reality”, as well as closely covered this fansign event, showing high interest in the group and once again proving aespa’s global popularity.
In Paris, aespa not only attended the Givenchy 2023 Spring-Summer fashion show held at Paris Fashion Week on October 2nd as the brand ambassador, but also received a special invitation from Givenchy’s creative director Matthew M. Williams to visit his studio.
