Next Level is aespa’s fastest song to hit that huge milestone!
SM’s rookie group, aespa, has released their new digital single ‘Next Level’ last month. At around 2:30 am on June 19th, the new music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.
This number was recorded in only 32 days, 8 hours and 30 minutes. With this new song, Aespa set their own fastest record on the 19th. Previously, the debut song ‘Black Mamba’ reached 100 million views in 51 days.
To commemorate this, a special choreography will be released. aespa will open a special choreography video for ‘Next Level’ on YouTube and their official website at 6 pm on the 19th.
“Next Level” remains at the top of the Melon 24 Hits even though it has been about a month since its release. The group is showing off their aspect as a new music queen.
‘Next Level’ is a remake of the OST in the movie ‘Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw’. It is a hip-hop dance song with an energetic bass riff. The powerful voices of the members are very impressive.
The worldview story is also interesting. aespa has presented a different story from their debut song ‘Black Mamba’. They face another self, the avatar ‘ae’.
Meanwhile, aespa debuted in November of last year. The group consists of Karina, Winter, Gisele, and Ning-Ning. They have a worldview of ‘meeting another self, an avatar, and experiencing a new world’.
