Marking its 95th anniversary this year, “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade” is a large-scale Thanksgiving festival hosted by famous U.S. department store brand Macy’s. It is receiving explosive responses from local people for providing various things to see every year.

Macy’s announced the 2021 festival’s performer lineup through its official website on Nov 1st (local time). The brand introduced about aespa, “It is South Korea’s most daring new girl group with 4 members: Karina, Winter, Giselle and Ningning. Under the SF concept that each of them has an avatar living in a virtual world, the music video for their debut song ‘Black Mamba’ surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. Their debut album ‘Savage’ ranked #20 on the Billboard 200 chart, recording the highest ranking ever for a K-pop girl group’s debut album.”

Meanwhile, aside from aespa, the lineup also includes other world-famous stars such as Darren Criss of the popular American drama “Glee” and Jon Batiste, who composed the OST for the Disney movie “Soul”. “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2021” will take place from Central Park to Herald Square in Manhattan and air via NBC.
