Girl group aespa will appear in the American summer concert series hosted by ABC’s “Good Morning America”.
aespa will be the first K-pop girl group to appear in the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series 2022, which will be held at Rumsey Playfield, a large concert hall in Manhattan Central Park, New York, on July 8th (local time). The group will also be the first performer, providing the concert series with a splendid opening.
“GMA Summer Concert Series” is an outdoor concert held every summer by “Good Morning America”, the representative morning show of ABC channel in the US. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this concert series has been held in virtual and hybrid (offline and online) formats for the past 2 years.
This year, starting with aespa, “GMA Summer Concert Series” is expected to garner great interest with various famous artists. The show will entail several large-scale outdoor concerts up until September 2nd.
aespa’s appearance on “GMA Summer Concert Series” will coincide with the release of their new mini album “Girls”, which include the group’s first English single “Life’s Too Short” and their title song “Girls”. This means that “Girls” will hit the stage for the first time at GMA Summer Concert Series, drawing strong reactions from local audiences.
