Actress Yoon Sa-bong, who boasted a close friendship with Kim Tae-hee in “Hi Bye, Mama”, is returning with the melo-mystery “Trolley” 

The actress is returning to the small screen with the SBS’ drama “Trolley.”

According to Hunus Entertainment, Yoon Sa-bong will return to the small screen through SBS’ new Monday-Tuesday drama “Trolley,” which will air at 10 p.m. on the 19th (SKT).

The drama “Trolley” is a mystery and melodrama series about the wife of a member of the National Assembly who lived quietly while hiding the past, and the dilemmas and choices that the couple faces as her secrets are revealed to the world.

In the series, Yoon plays Kim Bit-na, a fifth-grade secretary, among the aides of Nam Joong-do (Park Hee-soon).

Kim Bit-na enters the National Assembly as a ninth-grade administrative secretary but advances to grade five because she wants to change the world directly through legislative actions.

Yoon Sa-bong is expected to work in conjunction with experienced actors Kim Hyun-joo, Park Hee-soon, and Kim Mu-yeol, raising expectations.

Yoon Sa-bong’s most recent spotlight was her appearance in “Hi Bye, Mama,” also Kim Tae-hee’s return drama after five years. 

“Hi Bye, Mama” tells the story of Cha Yu-ri (Kim Tae-hee) who left her family due to a tragic accident five years ago. Through a reincarnation project, she is given the possibility to become human again if she can regain her place in her family again within 49 days. However, her husband, Cho Kang-hwa (Lee Kyu-hyung), and her daughter, Cho Seo-woo (Seo Woo-jin), are starting over a new life with a new woman in their life.

Kim Tae-hee said that she worked more closely with Yoon Sa-bong, who played the role of the shaman Mi Dong-daek, than Lee Kyu-hyung, who played her husband in the series.

She said, “It’s a unique relationship that can’t exist in real life, and I thought the chemistry between Mi Dong-daek and Yuri at the beginning of the drama was important.”

At the time, Yoon Sa-bong and Kim Tae-hee were friends of the same age even before filming, and Kim Tae-hee said in an interview, “I met (with Yoon Sa-bong) separately beforehand and had time to match with her acting, and it was very helpful.”

In the drama, Yoon Sa-bong played the role of Mi Dong-daek, a bodhisattva and shaman with 0% performance.

At the time, Kim Tae-hee drew attention by revealing that during the acting practice together, Yoon Sa-bong gave her many tips on acting and that was actually very helpful.

After debuting with the musical “Nonsense” in 2006, Yoon Sa-bong has revealed a special presence in each role she has been entrusted with, including the musical “Laundry,” “Les Miserables,” and the play “Elephant Song,” as well as the dramas “Arthdal Chronicles,” “Hi Bye, Mama,” “Private Lives,” and “Lovers of the Red Sky.”
