“King the Land” is a drama about a story that takes place at the King Hotel, a dream place of hoteliers. Cheon Sa Rang (YoonA) is a hotelier who always keeps a smile on her face. The hotel where she works is owned by The King Group, which is to be passed down to Goo Won (Lee Jun Ho), the next heir in line, who also despises fake smiles.

At the script reading site, director Lim Hyun Wook and writer Choi Rom were present. The cast of “King the Land” were also at the site, including Lee Jun Ho (Goo Won), YoonA (Cheon Sa Rang), Go Won Hee (Oh Pyeong Hwa), Kim Ga Eun (Kang Da Eul), Ahn Se Ha (Noh Sang Sik), and Kim Jae Won (Lee Roon).

To hype up the atmosphere, Lee Jun Ho said, “I will always make a scene full of laughter”. YoonA added, “I hope this smile continues to the end of the shoot”.

To bring about an indifferent third-generation chaebol who doesn’t care about others, Jun Ho delivered his lines with a feisty tone and nonchalant expression. YoonA was also immersed in the role of Cheon Sa Rang. She brought her character to life with bright energy.

After a few lines, Jun Ho expressed, “We were more in sync than I thought. Seeing that it was fun while reading, I think it will be a more pleasant drama if I film it”.

In response, YoonA said, “It was more interesting to listen to the characters I only saw in the text at home. There are many things that are drawn better, so I’m looking forward to it”.

JTBC’s new Saturday and Sunday drama “King the Land” will premiere on June 17th at 10:30 p.m. (KST).
