Activities to celebrate EXO Sehun’s birthday have been postponed by the Seoul Metropolitan Government

Kpop fans often run birthday ads for their favorite celebrities.  Sehun‘s fans also prepared very carefully to celebrate the male idol’s birthday this year. However, some unexpected problems have occurred.

Recently, the media reported that activities to celebrate Sehun’s birthday have been postponed by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.  The reason is because of the election law.

Sehun’s birthday ad was held from 2nd to 12th. This coincided with the Seoul Mayor’s election.  The problem is that the male idol’s name is similar to Oh Se-hoon, who used to run for Seoul mayor.  Even their holy names are the same.

In addition, red is the color that represents On Se-hoon’s party. It is said that the flag used in Sehun’s birthday advertisement was also red. Accordingly, the city of Seoul said, “It could be an illegal election campaign.”

Eventually, EXO’s fans have had to change the ad date from the 9th to the 18th.
