Lee Sung Kyung was born in 1990, works under the management of one of Korea’s leading entertainment companies – YG. Exploding with the nickname “Weightlifting Fairy”, Lee Sung Kyung is increasingly asserting her position in the Korean entertainment industry.
A multi-talented beauty who gain popularity with her talent
Possessing outstanding height, personality and easy-to-remember appearance, in 2008, Lee Sung Kyung participated in a small-scale modeling contest in her hometown and won the Lex Prize. From there, she officially entered the entertainment world as a model and quickly achieved success when she brought home the Unix Hair New Style Prize at the 2009 Asia Pacific Supermodel, becoming the first model under the cooperation project between YG Entertainment and YG KPlus. Alongside working as a model, she also branched into other fields such as acting, singing, and hosting, proving herself as a multi-talented face under YG.
