A star who ran away from the filming set after getting hit by the director for making NG scenes when she was still an unknown actress

She is also loved by many people as a multi-talented entertainer. However, she once told a sad story that happened at a filming site when she was still an unknown rookie actress.
In 2015, Jeon So-min appeared as a guest on tvN’s live talk show “Taxi” and confessed about the painful wound she got during her unknown days. Jeon So-min, who was still a rookie at that time, was lucky to be cast for the main character role in a one-act play after wearing the “unknown” label for a long time. Therefore, she worked extremely hard and prepared a lot in order to show a good performance.
The director of that one act-play was well-known as a violent person who has a bad personality. From that director’s point of view, he seemed to hate the acting of rookie actress Jeon So-min. That’s why he verbally abused her every time she made mistakes or NG scenes.
Eventually, as a rookie, Jeon So-min experienced many sad memories, such as getting hit on the head. Perhaps after getting hit too many times by the director, she developed a habit of doing some kinds of self-discipline punishments, like hitting herself on the head, whenever she felt like she was about to make an NG again. Other directors usually comfort the actors or stop hitting after cooling down their anger, but the director in Jeon So-min’s story hit her harder than before.
Moreover, the filming environment at that time was in terrible conditions, so actors had to move the filming equipment together with the staff. It is said that the director asked Jeon So-min to make breakfasts for him. Then he told her to follow him, and it turned out that she unintentionally had to serve as his assistant.
It was too hard for Jeon So-min to the point that she even tried to escape from the filming site by calling a taxi, but she immediately got caught by the director.
