While Kim Garam, a member of LE SSERAFIM, is causing controversy over her school violence allegations, an article written by a netizen even before the case was exposed is being re-examined.
Recently, on various online communities, netizen A’s article posted on April 4th is being re-examined through another article titled “A person who knew about the issue of the LE SSERAFIM school violence case in advance.”
A said, “Kim Garam, who will be released at 12 o’clock, doesn’t have a clean past. She transferred from Gwangju, but she transferred because something happened. As she is about to debut, she tries to control the situation by going to see everyone and apologizing. Her past will explode later, I’m 100% sure,” they wrote.
In fact, Kim Garam was announced as a member of LE SSERAFIM through the official YouTube teaser video of her agency HYBE the day after the post was written.
Then, at 00 a.m. the next day, an article was posted on the online community Nate pann to expose Kim Garam’s school violence.
At that time, an account who claims to be her alumni, said, “She was so famous as a bully that even the surrounding schools heard about her. It was her daily routine to pick on and laugh at one in front of other students. She always swore profanities and stuff at everyone,” they said. This account also attached a photo of their graduation album from middle school as proof.
Netizens who belatedly heard about A’s post showed various reactions, such as “Maybe this person is someone very close to her,” “There won’t be any smoke if there is no fire, right,” and “She should have lived as someone nice.”
Meanwhile, HYBE said there was no physical violence as Kim Garam’s alleged school violence continued to rise.
“There was no physical violence at all,” HYBEtold a media outlet. “She received a 5th level result. But since the School Violence Committee is not a court, we know that each issue, school, region, and person in charge is different,” it said.
However, in general, the public is expressing its doubts because a 5th level measure wouldn’t be taken unless she was indeed a perpetrator of school violence.
