A director of “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” joined in, uploaded videos of Kim Seon-ho’s “awkward eating scene”

Amid the testimony of a staff member about Kim Seon-ho saying “The atmosphere of the filming site was uncomfortable due to Kim Seon-ho’s frequent serious face,” the filming director A posted a video as if to refute it, drawing attention.

On Oct 29th, the filming director of “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” wrote on his Instagram, “The atmosphere at the mentioned eating scene…” and released a short video.

In the video, Kim Seon-ho began acting according to the director’s command, “Ready, Action.” The moment he gave the spoon to the other actor, they burst into laughter, and Kim Seon-ho also laughed along. The atmosphere at the filming site was friendly and happy.

Earlier, TenAsia quoted staff member B who said, “Kim Seon-ho made the atmosphere awkward with his frequent serious and annoyed face at the scene,” adding, “Once, in the scene which Lee Sang-i and he was eating at the house of granny Kim Gam-ri (Kim Young-ok), after some kind of foreign substances were discovered in one of the side dishes, his expression became stiff from then on. It was a bad situation enough, but even if the prop team tried to refill the rice or side dishes later, he would say “No need” while putting on an annoyed face, which stunned everyone.”

In response, anonymous netizen C, who said he was a staff member of “Hometown Cha Cha Cha,” refuted the words of B and said, “I remember that incident. But the foreign substance in the food was Hochkiss (stapler pin). Kim Seon-ho discovered it and said let’s be careful.” They said, “About his annoyed face, he was doing the eating scene with veteran actress Kim Young-ok and a stapler pin came out, how can he trust and eat that rice? I think he said what he had to say,” they said, stressing that Kim Seon-ho did not do anything wrong.

C said, “As a staff who had seen it up close, and in that scene, there might be many different opinions, but I wasn’t even close to him. From my point of view, he was an actor who did his best when acting and cared for the staff when filming was difficult. He quietly called the team and told them to remove that foreign substance, so only those who were close to him knew. I don’t understand the controversy over his attitudes at the scene,” they explained.
