On August 2, in an interview, YG Food CEO Noh Hee Young revealed some new information regarding Baby Monster. Specifically, Noh Hee Young claimed that YG’s new girl group, directed by herself, is oriented to create 10 versions of Jennie (BLACKPINK).
Noh Hee Young’s shocking revelation sparked a huge controversy on Korean forums:

- Jennie is the model image of YG.
- She probably means to train elite trainees like Jennie.
- Anyway, I will support Baemon as a rookie instead of “10 Jennie”.

Previously, According to the Korean media outlets, the girl group “BLACKPINK’s sister” gathered all girls from 15 to 16 years old. The average age of the group is much younger than 2ne1 and BLACKPINK at the time of their debut.
Numerous Internet users believe that YG’s female trainees at the present do not possess the same level of outstanding beauty and temperament as BLACKPINK’s members.
