7 years after BLACKPINK, YG introduces survival show for BABYMONSTER, the next girl group 

YG’s next girl group, BABYMONSTER, will release a survival show that reveals the final selection process for their debut lineup. 

On March 7th, 7 years after BLACKPINK’s debut, YG Entertainment announced that they will release a “survival show” of the final member selection process for BABYMONSTER. The show will be aired every Friday at 0 AM (KST), starting from March 10th.

BABYMONSTER’s survival show, which is titled “BABYMONSTER – Last Evaluation” can be seen through BABYMONSTER’s official YouTube channel.

Since all seven members have shown solid skills and diverse charms, there is a growing curiosity about what kind of competitions and evaluations will take place in this “last evaluation”.

In addition, a teaser poster was released, which features the seven potential members, their unique personalities, and an aura of hip-hop that breaks through the black and white palette, hinting at the birth of YG’s next-generation girl group.

“BABYMONSTER – Last Evaluation” is planned to reveal the potential of the potential members in advance, to be objectively evaluated by the public.

Regarding this, YG’s executive producer Yang Hyun Suk said, “Until now, we have revealed the seven most talented trainees with the highest potential for debut, and now we plan to select the best members through the final evaluation.”

BABYMONSTER is a new girl group that YG announced after about seven years since BLACKPINK’s debut. The potential members, who are mostly teenagers, consists of 3 Koreans (Ahyeon, Haram, and Rora), 2 Thais (Pharita and Chiquita), and 2 Japanese (Ruka and Asa), who are all equipped with vocal, dance, rap, and visual skills.
