The appearance fee of actress Lee Ji Ah, who is starring in the drama “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise”, was revealed.
Star News reported on April 19th that Lee Ji Ah is receiving an appearance fee that is about 3 times higher than her previous work in tvN’s “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise”. (hereinafter referred to as “Pandora”).
According to the report, Lee Ji Ah’s previous work is SBS’ series “The Penthouse: War in Life”. Since “The Penthouse: War in Life” was originally scheduled to be produced on a seasonal basis, her appearance fee may be set somewhat low at that time.
However, Lee Ji Ah’s appearance fee tripled in “Pandora”, raising her brand value.
Previously, when “The Penthouse: War in Life” was broadcast, Lee Ji Ah received explosive attention, such as ranking first in the drama cast’s topicality category for 4 consecutive weeks.
Thanks to her performance, “The Penthouse: War in Life” gained popularity with the highest viewership rating of 28.8% in season 1, 29.2% in season 2 and 19.5% in season 3 (based on Nielsen Korea).
Meanwhile, “Pandora” tells the story of Hong Tae Ra (Lee Ji Ah) rising to the position of first lady in order to protect her beloved family after completely forgetting her past memory, and to punish those who took control of her fate and shaken her.
This drama drew attention as writer Kim Soon Ok of “The Penthouse: War in Life”, “The Last Empress” and “Temptation of Wife” participated as a creator.
“Pandora” airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 PM (KST).
