2 months in a row… more excellent news for “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, which just ended successfully

Hit K-drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, which received explosive responses, was once again honored. 

On August 22nd, Gallup Korea announced the results for their survey titled “Koreans’ Most Favorite TV Program in August”. 

According to this survey, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” is the most favorite K-drama of Koreans, while 2nd place and 3rd place belong to KBS1’s “Bravo, My Life”, and KBS2’s “It’s Beautiful Now”, respectively.

The survey was conducted from August 16th to 18th for 1,000 people over the age of 18 nation-wide. In addition, the sampling error was ±3.1 percentage, pointing to 95% confidence level, while the response rate was 11.2%.

Out of all responses, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” recorded a preference of 16.4%, taking the 1st place with an overwhelming difference from the 2nd place “Bravo, My Life” (4.5%) and the 3rd place “It’s Beautiful Now” (3.3%).

With this number, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” managed to break the record for having the highest preference percentage in the “Koreans’ Most Favorite TV Program” survey, ever since January 2013. In addition, the series also took first place in July, making this the 2 month in a row it earned such a position.

“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” follows the professional life of new lawyer Woo Young Woo (played by Park Eun Bin), who has a genius brain and an autism spectrum disorder.

The drama, which concluded on August 18th, recorded the highest viewership rating of 17.5% (based on Nielsen Korea) in its finale, setting a new record for broadcasting channel ENA.
