The Supreme Court to announce the sentence for Han Seo-hee on July 28th… Will this be the final sentence for her?

The Supreme Court’s sentence for Han Seo-hee, who has been imprisoned for taking drugs during her probation, has been set to be announced on July 28th.

According to OSEN’s report on July 15th, the Supreme Court will announce the sentence for Han Seo-hee, who is suspected of violating the Narcotics Control Act, at the second court at 10:10 a.m on July 28th.

Earlier, Han Seo-hee was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison after her appeal was dismissed from the trial held on the 29th of last month. Following the first trial, Han Seo-hee claimed that she did not administer methamphetamine in the second trial and appealed to the Supreme Court against the second trial’s ruling.

The second trial court explained the reason for the dismissal of Han Seo-hee’s appeal, pointing out that she committed the crime for the second time within the probation period and did not reflect on her wrongdoings.

Han Seo-hee tested positive for psychotropic drugs, such as methamphetamine and amphetamine, after undergoing a urine test during her probation in June 2020. The court explained during the first trial in November last year, “She committed the crime during the probation period. Rather than reflecting on her crime seriously, she keeps making excuses that are difficult to accept”. Han Seo-hee, who was arrested in court after being sentenced to prison at the first trial, drew attention as she cursed, “Judge, what are you doing? Why am I guilty when nothing is specified? XX, is this for real?”.
